Hurry up man..! But why? It's pretty cool night and clocking around 00:00 Hrs.. ! But still i am in hurry .. I don't know why .... Perhaps i am running short of time.. need to finish it all by tomorrow... some sections remaining .. and time is running out....! Piss off...! Time to Cut-Copy-(and finally)Paste! So the following is my take on the discussion going on a thread on Orkut which has to decide whether the work of Arundhati Roy on The God of Small Things is worth a good read or not..! Amused..! dun worry .. it happens.. but sometimes only..!
".... It is really amusing to know that such thread is going on about deciding whether 'The God of Small Things' by Arundhati Roy is a good read or a bad one..! While reading the book... personally i never felt like something is going odd or so irrelevant . Each and every part of the book is so commendable that one's words will fall short of explaining it. Awesome Read.... !! And one thing i liked about it, the art of presentation is very beautiful.
However i do agree with Gautam's statement that .. whenever Roy speaks for media or whatever be ... it goes off so controversial often and that is only due to her critical and straight forward statements, i think so .. Whats bad in being a man/woman of clear thoughts and clear perception! I am afraid, but this is really the dark age of Indian Politics which doesn't deserve any word of extol if we total it on an average! So, i totally disagree that the book of interest needs even a single groan! "
